Google Timer Use Google Search As Countdown Alarm Clock

The latest addition in the list of features built-into the Google search engine is a countdown timer! You can use it as an alarm clock. You can set a timer to remind you of something that you need to do at a given time. To use this Google Timer, in Google search engine, type either of the following: timer  for OR set timer for As you can seen, set is an optional part of the command. You can give time in number of hours, minutes and seconds. For example: timer for 1 hour 30 minutes 50 seconds Please note that there should be a space between number and unit of time (e.g. it should be 1 hour and not 1hour) Upon setting the timer you will see that Google displays countdown towards zero from the time you had set. It also gives you options to stop countdown (this is actually a pause because you can restart countdown again from where you had stopped it. When countdown will reach zero –your computer will play beep sound continuously to inform you of timer completion. The beeper will go on until you will stop it. On Android devices, you can use the voice commands to ask Google to do things. You need to activate the mic and then speak the following command: Ok Google, set a timer for 5 minutes And that’s it! Google will recognize the voice command and set the time for you. In case Google misunderstands your command, you can always correct it with “No I Said” command.
